Moxibustion & Traditional Yao-style Ironing Herbal Compress
We are pleased to introduce two traditional heat therapies from East Asian medicine, designed to warm the body, improve circulation, and support overall well-being.

Moxibustion is a Traditional Chinese Medicine therapy in which dried mugwort (Ai Ye) is burned within a specialized holder and held near the skin, allowing therapeutic warmth to stimulate acupoints without direct contact. The penetrating heat helps warm the meridians, dispel cold and dampness, support Yang energy, and harmonize Qi and blood.
Moxibustion is traditionally used for cold sensitivity, fatigue, menstrual discomfort, chronic muscle and joint pain, and preventive health maintenance.
Regular moxibustion on classical points such as Zusanli (ST36) and Guanyuan (CV4) is traditionally believed to support immunity, improve resilience, and promote long-term wellness when performed appropriately.

Traditional Yao Ironing Herbal Compress Therapy originates from Yao ethnic medicine. It uses heated herbal compress packs applied directly to the body using pressing, rolling, and gentle “ironing” techniques.
This therapy emphasizes local warming and physical relaxation. The deep, comforting warmth promotes circulation, relaxes muscles, and relieves stiffness and soreness caused by cold or tension.
It is especially suitable for the neck, shoulders, back, joints, and seasonal or cold-related discomfort.
Our practitioners will be happy to help you select the most appropriate treatment for your needs.
